From an early age, I've been captivated by the world of aviation. As a child, my dream of becoming a pilot was fueled by a desire to serve my country and protect against formidable forces. However, life threw me a curveball when I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, altering my trajectory and challenging my aspirations. Despite facing physical limitations and being labeled as "different," my determination remained steadfast.

Encouraged by my grandmother, who worked at Boeing and gifted me a kid's bomber jacket and toy jets, I held onto my dream of flying. However, as the years passed and the military path became unattainable due to my condition, I explored alternative avenues such as private or commercial piloting. Yet, the steep costs dashed those hopes.

Amidst the disappointment, I discovered a new passion with the emergence of drone technology. Introduced to the exhilarating world of the Drone Racing League (DRL) by my father, drones became my escape, offering a thrilling flight experience comparable to that of a fighter pilot. With FPV goggles transporting me to the drone's cockpit, I soared through the skies, experiencing a perspective previously inaccessible.

Despite numerous setbacks, including broken drones and financial constraints, my dedication never wavered. Through relentless perseverance and fueled by extensive research, practice, and skill-building, I progressed from a basic Amazon drone to crafting my own high-performance carbon fiber aircraft capable of extraordinary speeds.

This transformative journey not only honed my skills but also redefined my aspirations, proving that despite life's obstacles, one can still soar to new heights with unwavering determination and a passion for innovation. From using drones as a means of coping with the limitations imposed by my muscular dystrophy diagnosis to engineering custom-built aircraft, my journey has been one of self-discovery and technological exploration.
